The new offices of Mutua Levante were looking for a modern and practical space in the widening of Valencia. A historic building in which to contain its customer service areas and exhibition spaces.

The new offices of Mutua Levante were looking for a modern and practical space in the widening of Valencia. A historic building in which to contain its customer service areas and exhibition spaces.
An old narrow room with different floor heights, which after many renovations had deteriorated the facade of the building, as well as superimposed layers of history.
After an intensive renovation, the floor was brought to street level to make the new space fully accessible, the ceilings were restored to their original height, thus creating a large and open space.
The aim was to give light to the new space and, above all, to the interior areas of the premises, by integrating the existing courtyards of lights, generating large windows with gardens inside. These courtyards act as a natural separation between the 3 areas of the office: the work and customer service area, the meeting room and a multipurpose room for exhibitions.
The materials chosen are resistant and warm. The large-format porcelain tile flooring creates an almost continuous space, while the wood paneling frames the warmer part.
The work also focused on recovering the original façade, recreating the openings, moldings and colors that the building preserved. The furniture chosen for the interiors is practical and tries to work with the personality of the Mutua Levante brand. Minimalist shapes and simple finishes are sought.
