The plant is presented in a single area without corridors, articulated through an open concept kitchen.
The L-shaped living room is arranged between the living room, with a deep sofa, and the dining room with a dining table made from an old farm threshing floor. Around it, the modern Ghost chairs by Kartell contrast, illuminated by the new Coco lamp by Leds C4, generating a striking contrast between antiques and contemporary furniture.
The open plan kitchen is designed for the greatest comfort of the “chef”. He wanted to feel included in social gatherings while cooking, so the island houses the entire preparation area, while all the storage and preparation artifacts are hidden in the back.
The totally open concept of the kitchen made it possible to fully integrate it into the space, so the materials and finishes were treated in exactly the same tone as the walls and doors, to generate a feeling of spaciousness and minimalism. Different mirrors were also strategically placed to double the depth of the rooms.
The porcelain flooring imitation terrazzo in shades of gray, generates a touch of character to the home, while integrating the different shades of gray and black.
Through the kitchen we can access the different rooms (two singles) and a courtesy bathroom. And in turn to the main bedroom, where a wallpapered headboard flanked by two mirrors stands out.
La No Casa was the past of the house according to its owners, with a narrow and obsolete distribution, with a disproportionate bathroom and narrow and gloomy rooms and kitchen. With the new distribution, eliminating the corridor and placing the kitchen in the center of the house, we managed to provide extra space to take out one more bathroom and provide the spaciousness that the house deserved.
