Single-family home in L’Horta Sud

This detached house is part of the plot of a traditional Valencian town house, in which we have carried out a profound remodeling.

The good weather and the light of this area have conditioned the renovation project of this house. The outdoor spaces have changed their configuration for a better use of the terrace and the capture of light.

The main entrance of the house is made by a patio that has been modified, which has incorporated a large terrace for use and enjoyment throughout the year thanks to its orientation and to be semi-covered. The floor of the terrace invades the kitchen, creating a continuous and open room that, through the large sliding windows, causes the sensation of cooking outside, taking advantage of both spaces on warm days.

The kitchen is arranged in a U-shape to have the maximum bench and storage surface. The wall area is used for high cabinets where the integrated fridge and the heat column are located. The peninsula is configured with a bar for breakfast and cooking area, with direct communication to the dining room, creating a space to share. The finishes of the kitchen are of high quality and resistance, using a porcelain top and high-performance lacquered fronts.

On the upper floor, in the most private area, the two bathrooms have been completely remodeled. The one that is located in the master suite is the one that receives more natural light and has been configured to take advantage of this resource. The materials reflect the warmth and neatness that this space needs.

The second bathroom has been given special attention, since it is an interior room. A correct lighting and a distribution that allows to achieve a large storage space, transforms a space that is perfectly integrated into the architecture of the room.
